Ignore the picture and address listed. Look for the Breck. Outdoor Education Center to find the reservoir. Flat path all the way around.
COSarah posted this under hiking in 2009 - "The Reservoir Trail & Sawmill Creek trail - Drive up Four O’Clock Rd (follow the signs for the BOEC) and park in the small parking lot near the gate at the BOEC. Follow the Reservoir Trail downhill. A few hundred feet from the parking lot you’ll see the ski bridge on your left; follow that and continue to follow the Reservoir Trail til you get to the bottom of the Snowflake lift. Then go up the Sawmill Creek trail on the other side of the lift til you see some stairs at the end which will take you to the Old Town reservoir. It's quite beautiful. You might consider bringing a picnic lunch with towels to sit on. The two legs of this little hike will take less than an hour at a leisurely pace and with a couple stops. On the other side of the lake you’ll see the BOEC building (large log cabin). The parking lot is nearby."
If you have a young girl in your group, try to find the hiking path from 4 O'Clock run, which takes you through the Fairy Forest. Watch out for little surprises all along the path thanks to nearby neighbors.
