“Perfect location!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2013

We stayed in #205 in March 2013. This unit is outstanding! Nicely updated, super comfy beds, all the amenities you could need including some awesome sleds! This property is so close to the chair-lift and restaurants (Breckenridge Brewery) we hardly used our car at all. The second bedroom with 2 bunk-beds was great for our kids! The pool and hot-tub were really nice too. I highly recommend this complex and especially unit #205!

I chose this location because it was less than half the cost of most of the condos of similar size in the actual village. When I got there I was surprised at just how close to everything it was. I was thinking it would be a ~10 minute walk to the slopes or main street but it was actually more like 2-3 minutes. Super easy.

I stayed in unit 204. Don't expect upscale as this isn't a place that is going to blow you away but it is very nice, especially for the price.

The place was plenty big and we didn't have to buy anything except food/drink. Dishes, cups, paper products, etc were all already stocked in the condo.

All in all, If you want ski-in/ski-out then this isn't the place. If you're willing to take your ski's off and walk 2 minutes to save some (a lot) of dough, then this place will be right up your alley. It's also handy that it's right next to a ski rental shop (charter sports).

I would defnitely stay here again.

Just returned from our stay at columbine condominiums and had a great week long vacation. The location is great. A quick 4-5 minute walk to the lifts at breckenridge, and right on the edge of downtown. Everything is within walking distance with the exception of the main supermarket.
We stayed in 204, The unit was updated nicely and had a wonderful gas fireplace, as well as gas grill on the deck. There was plenty of closet space, and rooms were nicely sized. It was very quiet at night. My only complaints were that the bed in the master room was a little too soft for my liking, but that is just personal preferance. Also, there was a not so pleasent odor coming from all the drains in the apartment. You noticed when in the bathrooms or kitchen. It was a bit unpleasent, but not enough for me to complain about.
We would definately stay here again. Close to the town, and slopes. Updated nicely. Kitchen stocked with utilities and utensils. We had a very enjoyable stay.

We stayed at Columbine Unit 305 in Breckenridge over the holidays 2010. The unit is good sized for a 2Br/ 2 Bath and is in good shape. It looks like it was renovated pretty much top to bottom several years ago. Beds and family room furniture are comfortable. We rented our skiis and snowboards from Charter Sports that is located in the nearby Marriott Hotel and this was very convenient as Charter is only a 3 min walk from the condo and then another 50 yards to get to the Quicksilver lift area. 5 Min walk to Main Street. We had a great time there with our family. Wireless internet is provided. If there is a criticism it would be that the decor is somewhat bland - but I am stretching to pick on something. For what we paid - considering the room, condition and convenience - it's a good value.

Stayed in unit 204. Very nice unit, nice beds and bathrooms. Kitchen is fully stocked. Outside of building looks to have been updated. Heated parking garage is great when leaving in a snow storm.

Make sure you check the actual unit you are renting. These are all owned individually and can be renovated or not. Ask for pictures! We've stayed in units 304, 204 & 202 - all are very nice. We've had friends stay in 201 and 305, also very nice. Can't speak to any of the other units. We've seen some that haven't been renovated and the building was built in the 70's!

Change your reservation, bribe someone, but don't stay at this condo !!! Absolutely the most horrible place I have ever seen. I'm OK with outdated furniture but when the shower squirts sideways flooding the bathroom, lighting so dim that that you almost run into furniture, and cracks, smells, and mold that make your head spin...you know you are headed for disaster. It's too bad because it's a good location close to the lifts and a good layout but come on owners....step up and make it at least tolerable !!! Luckily, we were able to switch units the next day and salvage our trip but we couldn't get out of here fast enough !
