“Just an expensive trailer park...Only one commode for men!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2013

This is simply a mobile home park that is trying to be exclusive (sorry for anthropomorphizing). There was only a single commode for men...two for women. Morning queues were embarrassing. Consider other local options if possible. The majority of the park was mobile homes covered with fake log veneer.

Well I survived the winter and I am enjoying the change to warmer weather. It is just as beautiful here in the summer/spring as it is in the winter. I plan to spend more summer months here next year. So your reviews are taken seriously and the HOA decided to upgrade the bathrooms furing mud season. The bathrooms look nicer. I know some of you will find something to complain about because that's what you do...so I will tell you now, we had to go from one sit down toilet to one in the men's room. This was because the resort had to follow fed standards when they remodeled. Tried and tried to find a way, but the wheelchair compliant toilet took too much room. Sorry, use the toilet in your rv or chalet if you don't like it. There is a lot of building and remodeling as owners spruce up their lots and make them nicer. So please guests, treat the owner's property like your own and don't trash or destroy some one else's property. Mine is rented for the summer and if damaged, I will pull it out of the rental pool. Dog crap still an issue, Pick up or leave fido home is all I got to say. I have two huge dogs and somehow can pick up after them, why can't you?

Stayed at Tiger Run twice over the last few years. Once in the Fall and once in Winter (for about 2 weeks).

Both times we found it a pretty good place to stay. We used the pools everynight especially the spa pools. Great for chatting to other visitors.

The showers/changing rooms were indeed bad, hot water only seemed to work properly in one of them, dont think they got cleaned while we were there, or certainly not enough to get the same piece of old soap from the floor. Smelt pretty bad from stinky bodies in the changing rooms at times.

We had three different sites and all were good. RV supplies and food was limited in the shop.

Staff were ok but looked a bit bored with life and seemed uninterested.

We think the location was great, you cant park an RV closer to Breck and the buses are all free anyway so we used them a bit if we didnt want to unhook.

We would stay there again and recommended it to friends who stayed recently and loved it.

Room Tip: It is a big place so if you want to use the bathrooms, pools etc, ask for a site near the amenities.

Chalet was filthy with stains on the linens, personal owner items everywhere, kitchen dishes and pots and pans dirty, oven and stove dirty, expired and outdated food in cupboards, pet hair everywhere, advertised fireplace but inoperable, non-existent internet, limited cable service, totally misrepresented their chalets!

Room Tip: Avoid Tiger Run - there are many better places to stay in Summit County.

Just finished an RV ski tour of Colorado in February. Stayed at Tiger Run 4 nights at a simple RV hookup. Friendly service checking in. Clean facilities, even for a public restroom at a full resort. The snow was cleared by 7am. What's not to like? Ok, in a perfect world the resort would be closer to Breck, but the bus picks you up out on Rt. 9 every half hour until almost 2am and it's free. An RV haven in the middle of winter? Look no further.

So last summer I read some of the reviews and decided not to stay at Tiger Run. However after staying a few days on the dirt with no hook ups, I decided to check it out. To my surprise I did not see the same resort as others did. Some much so we bought a lot and are now wintering here. It is not perfect, but if you whine and complain about Tiger Run you'll complain about anything. So here are some bad things, the bathroom is what it is since many people shower there. Personally, I shower in my rv. Dog poop, I hike the trails and find piles not being picked up. Well, there are bag stations all over so I guess guests and owners who don't clean up are the blame not the resort. This place is the best of both worlds. Very close to several mountains, but not the high prices if you stayed in Breck proper...wifi is some times sketchy, but I didn't buy here to sit on my computer. Two words, hot spot, if you have something really import, use your own hot spot, or walk to the club house and hook up to the eithernet cables available.

We have stayed at this RV resort 6 times and every time it's superb. We've been both in winter and summer and both seasons they maintain perfectly. They have a gorgeous heated indoor pool and hot tub and the kids just love the arcade and tv rooms. They have shuttle service to the ski lifts which is very convenient. There is so much to do in Breck! We always have a blast no matter what the weather. Enjoy your RV in the winter and come use their full hook ups and stay toasty warm!
