“Small Theater in good location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013

This theater hold about 100 people so there is no bad seat. The rows are raked well so can see over the person in front of you. Mostly nice card table chairs with backs. The location about a block off Main Street is great.

“Beauty and the Beast was Fabulous!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2013

I just saw the Breckenridge Backstage Theatre's production of Beauty and the Beast over Labor Day, and it was incredible. Everything from the set to the costumes to the talent was on par with a big city production and all for a quarter the price of what I would have paid for the same seat at a major theatre. Thank you Backstage for an incredible evening.

“39 Steps was fabulous!!”

Very pleasantly surprised by the great show and cast in small town Breck. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening as did our 10 yr old daughter!

“39 Steps - good cast and show”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2013

we enjoyed the 39 steps show at the theater. Seats about 100 and was full. A good comedy with a good cast. Parking was not a problem on Sunday night but probably is on the weekend.

“Avenue Q--great”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2013

I saw this production off-Broadway two years ago and really liked it. It cost a lot more money to see it there, and as expected it was a fairly big production. In Breck, the setting was intimate/small and the tickets were very affordable. Basically a scaled-down off-off-Broadway production that was very satisfying. The show itself is of course "adults only" and that's exactly right. Nothing terribly off-color, although I could see some were offended. They don't mislead you about adult content--from the very beginning. If you're easily offended, don't go. But you'll miss a very entertaining show. Venue itself has friendly staff, a full bar. Really small bathrooms. They're going to remodel in 2014, we'll see if that changes.
