“Fun at a price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2013

The children in our group ages 7,11, and 14 had a wonderful time. We purchased all day passes for them and went a la carte for the adults. It was a cold day with intermittent showers which cramped our style buy all enjoyed the mini golf, gold runner coaster and alpine super slide. The kids also had a blast bungee jumping and in the maze. However, gemstone panning was a waste. The $73 ticket for everyone over 7 is a bit excessive though. On the a la carte pricing the two slides are $18 a piece for one turn and almost everything else is $10. Adds up really fast. The food service available is extensive and very good, however, again it is very expensive. Enjoy the gondola ride up the mountain - its free!

“Always a family favorite!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

We always love Peak 8 Fun Park and our boys have a blast. It is more fun now that our youngest can ride all of the rides, though not by himself yet. The lines move quickly and the staff is friendly. It is expensive so make sure to get there early to maximize the full day pass. Also make sure to check the weather report. They have to shut down when there is lightening and though you can get a partial refund, it's hard to overcome the kid's disappointment.

“Too expensive”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Peak 8 has fun stuff for the kiddos. However, it's too costly. Seems to be as expensive as Disney or any other major theme park. Kids can get full access for around 40$, yet some of the rides require an adult to accompany them. That's where they get you on the price. You can ala carte single adult rides for 20$ or pay over 70$ for an unlimited adult ticket.

Neat and fun for kids yes. But definitely puts a damper on the pocket book once you add food and drinks.

“Good day's fun with your kids or grandkids”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2013

We visited the park with some friends who were scoping out things to do with their grandkids on a future summer visit to Breckenridge. This would certainly fill the bill. It is pricey, and the variety of activities certainly isn't going to compete with Disneyland, but the kids will like it and it should burn off some of that extra energy.
