This is a cheap motel - and you get what you pay for! I asked for a non-smoking room. That is what was on the door. In spite of this, the room reeked of stale smoke. By the time I mentioned this, I had already settled in for the night after a long flight. The Alfalfa's store across the street sold candles and air freshener. When I did say something, the response was "Yeah, we billed the former occupant for the smoke". I would be curious if TraveltoCO found the same response! Other than this, the place was ok. The bed was of average quality, the fixtures rather old and the continental breakfast was very spartan. However, the location was very good, the room was rather quiet (unless the college kids were out!) and reportedly the motel has plans to renovate in the near future (but that is what was reported in other posts and it hasn't happened yet!). The staff were ok. Basically if you want a cheap place to spend the night and don't want/need/expect any amenities, this will do. Barely.
