“Great Hotel”

Great Hotel. Clean. Great view of the Flatirons from the room window. Coffee in room and lobby needs improvement.

I've stayed here three times and will keep going back. It's clean, friendly service, has all the amenities that I needed and has an INCREDIBLE breakfast restaurant! The mountain view rooms were worth the extra price (stayed in those two times). Wi-fi, a desk, comfortable chair with footstool were pluses too!

After a long flight from LHR to DEN and a short 40 minute drive from the airport, this was an ideal stop over for 1 night to recover, away from those "sterile" airport hotels!
Would certainly recommend as a stop-over, and the on-site diner "The Eggcredible Cafe" was good for a breakfast! There is no inclusive breakfast as a guest of the hotel, but we did get a 10% discount.
Not sure what else is near the hotel apart from a gas station and SubWay over the road.

I ended up in this hotel after going to the Hotwire site and clicking on a 2 1/2 star hotel in Boulder for $59. I had stayed for several days at the Hotel Millennium, which Hotwire rated a 3 star hotel for $69, which was more central, but they went off Hotwire because they had two large parties in, and I needed another night in Boulder. Hotwire had no more 3-star options, so I went with the 2 1/2 star, and got the Days Inn. Frankly, the rooms at the Days Inn were at least as nice as the Millennium, with several advantages: a fridge, a microwave and free internet in the rooms, all of which the Millennium lacked. (The Millennium, however, was more central and had a lot of fitness options, plus was on the Boulder Creek Path. It also had movies available in the room.) The Days Inn has a nice outdoor pool, a free business center in the lobby, and a breakfast/lunch cafe offering some Polish specialties. I didn't get to try the restaurant but it was written up in several newspapers/magazines. The place was spotless and homey, the staff was helpful, and access to downtown Boulder was easy and fast. This is a good place for an inexpensive base in Boulder.

Don't be fooled by the outdated exterior of this hotel, has clean rooms with comfortable beds. Have stayed here several times. Great views. Fridge, microwave in rooms. Eggscredible restaurant located on the property serves Polish favorites for breakfast & lunch, not open for dinner. Front desk staff was friendly and efficient. Less than 15 minutes to downtown Boulder and on downtown bus route. Only 2-3 miles from several restaurants & shopping options at intersection of Broadway & Table Mesa.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2009

The Days Hotel offers good value. The top floor room was fine with a large floor-to-ceiling window looking toward mountains (across an apartment complex and parking lot). The adjoining room door let the neighbors' domestic squabble intrude the first night, but a call to the front desk got things quieted. Walls are not sound-proof. The hotel is on the outskirts of Boulder and near shopping. Since they provide a microwave and refrigerator, that's a bonus. It is an older property, but well-maintained and functional. There is some covered parking. The restaurant offers a nice breakfast menu and Polish specialties for lunch, in addition to conventional fare. There's also fast food across the street.
