What a lovely hotel in downtown Boulder. We were there for an event in the hotel and the staff couldn't have been more professional and attentive. The Event Center was perfect for our event and Sam was so accommodating and patient with us all that our event went very smoothly.
The Hotel is beautiful, but also comfy and homey with very lovely touches of antique furniture and a grand staircase. I did get a kick out of the 1906 Otis elevator. Brought back some memories of the old elevators. Our room (5th fl.) had a lovely window facing the Flatirons and just enough room to move around in. The closet was HUGE almost an extra room! That did help getting the suitcases stowed away so we could access them. The decor was lovely and I must say the soundproofing had to be very good as we never heard a peep.
We were well taken care of in the restaurant Q's with bartender Samantha and then the next morning being accommodated with a large rotating group for breakfast. Thank you all for making our visit truly special.
The only down side was the restaurant & bars close too early for guests which forces them to go else where. Too bad there isn't a better way to accommodate the guests of the Hotel.
