“Best deal for the money in Boulder”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2013

We came to visit our son at the university and this is the perfect place. We got the "executive suite" which is 2 large rooms with 3 queen beds. Just perfect for traveling with the family. Each room has it own tv set. The large main room has a refrigerator and microwave and a seating area. The vanity area has lots of counter space and 2 sinks with big mirrors. Only one toilet and shower, but that was no problem for us. The breakfast choices (included) were good. Hot eggs, bacon, etc. Lots of cereal, toast, bagels, muffins, juices, yogurt. No need to go out, but if you want to, The Buff restaurant located in the parking lot is a great place, but crowded on weekends. The location is the best, close to our son's apartment on Broadway, close to Pearl St. and right across the street from the 29th St. outdoor mall.

This hotel is located next to a shopping mall with plenty of restaurant options,
close to the central part of downtown boulder where all the action takes place.
The hotel in itself is an excellent motel, with clean and spacious rooms and a
decent breakfast. The price is cheap, so you really get a very good value for
your dollars. I come with some regularity to Boulder for work, and inevitably
this hotel is my pick. I highly recommend it.

We pick this Best Western for it's location. You are close to everything that you want to see and do. The staff was very helpful in suggesting places to see and eat. The rooms need a little updating but were spacious and clean. Would stay there again because of it's location

THE budget place to stay in Boulder! Don't even bother looking at any place else. I was staying in Boulder for a few days and I wanted to be near Pearl St. without the Pearl St. price. This was it. I picked this hotel based on location, price, and the reviews!!! Boy were they right!!! The hotel was easy to find and it looked like just another motel when I got there. The staff was super-friendly which started it off right. The room was large and cleaner than what you would expect for a motel. I slept like a rock all three nights. The room service ladies were really friendly also. As a bonus, this place has onsite laundry! The fitness room was great for the cold morning runs.

The best part of this hotel was The Buff restaurant which is not really a part of the hotel. The breakfast was off the charts good every morning!

Mark my words. Stay here!

I stayed for two nights on business. The king room was ample, and I particularly enjoyed the thick wooden table on which I got a lot of work done! This was my first time in Colorado, and the staff was very attentionate and friendly.
I enjoyed very much breakfast at the Golden Buff restaurant. A must-try, definitely.

Room Tip: The king room was worth it

We stayed for a few days. The service did not impress me at all.

Our bathtub tap dripped and was reported. Nothing was done and it was reported again. The front desk person fixed it. After three showers it started dripping again. When it was reported the third time a different desk person told me maintenance had said the drip would be fixed when we checked out. Giving me that message when heard or moving me would have been better service. The drip was loud enough to keep people awake when the bathroom door was open. When the bathroom door was kept closed it became an uncomfortably cold space.

The chairs in the room are proportioned for very large people. They are very heavy & difficult to move.

Daily housekeeping requests are made by the guest hanging a card on the outer door requesting service. I asked for wet towels to be removed and beds to be made. The service received was trash & towels were removed & beds were left unmade.

The second floor ice machine didn't work. The heat/AC is difficult to regulate.

The breakfast choices are very good. All of the tables in the breakfast room had crumbs or food debris on them when we were at breakfast. I wiped crumbs off the one with the fewest crumbs while a person from the front desk and the breakfast person (I think) sat at a table & talked.

I am not impressed. Soeme education in customer service is needed here.
