St. Julien is an all around great hotel. Excellent customer service, bikes, happy hours, location! It is truly only 1 of 2 hotels in Boulder that is walking distance to Pearl St. The rooms are good size, clean comfortable beds. They have bikes to borrow at no cost with the Boulder Creek bike trail right behind the hotel its nice way to take in the town. Kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub.We will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our time at the St. Julien in Boulder. Excellent, attentive (but not fawning) service, very helpful and a beautiful mountain view. Also an incredibly quiet room with one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've every been in. Fantastic location that is close to everything in walking distance.

Room Tip: Mountain view is fantastic.

Stayed 5 days at the St Julien during a women's retreat and it was fabulous. The food, the staff, the rooms, the service - I just couldn't fault any of it. Would love to return one day.
Thank you everyone

Room Tip: all rooms are really spacious with lovely bathrooms. Even rooms on the street are quiet

I was staying here during a business trip so I think we got a good rate on the rooms. The service in this hotel is outstanding, I am a stickler when it comes to service so I was extremely happy with my experience in this hotel. Jill's restaurant downstairs has a wide range of food for all budgets and all the meals we had here were great, only 1 little thing wasn't took away from it - i ordered poached eggs but they were very under done, make sure you specify how you would like your eggs!
the spa is lovely with a sauna, steam room and a large jacuzzi i personally would have like the jacuzzi be to at a higher temperature.
The rooms are fabulous, spacious and extremely clean they even replaced my coffee machine with a kettle! I would go back here in a heartbeat! The always staff remembered my name! Thanks for a great stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that doesn't over look the main road, one at the back is better. If you dont like...

The St Julien Hotel and Spa is a great retreat from the every day. the courtesy of the property staff is excellent. Every attempt to call you by name as you arrive and leave is made; demonstrating a strive to get to know the guests. Prior to arriving, the concierge provided recommendations for great dining establishments in the Boulder area; every recommendation was a winner.

Additionally, the Saturday Afternoon Tea service was delightful. A great treat in the middle of the day to enjoy the view of the Flatiron Mtns.

The rooms are spacious and serviced twice daily for needs. The mountain view room we had was enjoyable. Waking each morning to drawback the curtains and see the mountains was a highlight while there.

The overall property condition is well maintained. With indoor pool and spa services available, all needs are met.

Dear Kenneth P,

I appreciate your kind words regarding St Julien Hotel & Spa. I’m happy to hear you felt individually welcomed by our staff; we truly appreciate your patronage. I’m also pleased you were able to enjoy Afternoon Tea in our Lobby. The view of the Flatiron Mountains from our hotel is definitely unparalleled. I hope you will return again soon; I would highly recommend dining at Jill’s Restaurant, as I’m sure you would enjoy it as much as the other restaurants you were able to delight in around town.

I stayed in King deluxe room on a business trip in March. The room had a beautiful view of the mountains, the hotel was small enough to be manageable for a guy on crutches after some recent hip surgery yet, first class in its service and amenities.

Jill's restaurant is attached to the hotel and is excellent.

The hotel is perfectly situated in the center of the pedestrian mall/shopping district (Pearl Street).

The hotel lobby hosts some local acoustic musicians on the weekends which was a pleasant surprise even though it seemed a little bit out of place in such a formal beautiful lobby. They had a great crowd of local patrons.

No complaints, everything I would expect from a high-end hotel.

Dear Clay F,

I appreciate your review in regard to your recent stay at St Julien Hotel & Spa. I’m pleased you enjoyed both Jill’s Restaurant and the live music in the Lobby. In the summer months, we often feature live music on our outdoor terrace; I would highly recommend it if you visit Boulder again. Best wishes for a speedy recovery from your procedure, and thank you again for your patronage.

After spending 2 weeks in Holiday Inns and Best Western hotels, what a nice place to land for 3 days. How great to sauna and swim at the end of each day in a great spa.

The rooms are good sized and well laid out. The shower is big and separate from the large bath. Mattresses are very comfortable. All the staff is pleasant and professional. The hotel is right downtown so most of Boulder is walkable. We had a great view of the mountains from our room.

I rated it a 4 star by comparing it to the Ritz in Paris. That's a 5 star hotel. My wife thought the hair dryer was a bit grungy. The steam room was a bit stinky one day. The are just nit picks. This hotel is worth the almost $400 a night. It would be very hard to stay at a Best Western in Boulder knowing this place is here (and for the record I like Best Westerns).

Dear Bigal1953,

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay at St Julien Hotel & Spa. I’m glad you found comfort and respite at our hotel after lengthy travels. A visit to our Spa at St Julien, or the sauna and indoor lap pool, is undoubtedly a great way to unwind at the day’s end. I appreciate the excellent rating and comparison, and would be honored to host you and your wife for a return visit.
