Visited this evening with my sister, she hadn't been there in several years and we didn't want to drive into Denver for the Palm or any other steakhouse, so we thought this would be a nice, close choice. It started off pleasant, a round of drinks quickly, first telltale sign of good bar/steakhouse that is high end, is the quality of the mixers. The grapefruit juice was the imitation cocktail style out of the plastic bottle that is way over-sweetened. At a minimum this place should have had the "fresh squeezed" style available in any grocery store that is of nice quality OR have fresh grapefruits there to squeeze fresh JUST like J. Alexanders and Bravo Cucina (two chain restaurants). Two great places for fresh squeezed grapefruit juice. So I decided to order a vodka/soda next, Which I never received from our waitress (Anna), in fact she didn't show her face at our table until after we flagged down another waiter to order a bottle of wine AND our meal was served and we were half way into it. She never acknowledged forgetting my second missed cocktail order. The girl was clueless and intent on serving two larger tables of all male patrons. Now to the food; My steak was excellent, along with all accompaniments, my sister had the Sea Bass, she loved it, only negative was the green beans, they had an inordinate amount of bleu cheese to the point of being gross. Inedible................ My sister who lives in the area texted her husband about our experience and told him they wouldn't be visiting there anytime soon. Prices were very fair, I would even consider a bargain.
