We went here once because a few people we know here in Nederland said how good it is. We were very disappointed, it was gross. The salsa was tomato paste; really watery. No other ingredients but tomato paste - must of came straight out of a can. Then the atmosphere is old, dirty, and the server did not seem to care about anything. The booth was uncomfortable and had springs busted in it, and it was all lumpy to sit on. The food was basic and greasy. I didn't finish most of my plate, it was making me feel sick it was so greasy. The menu was also really basic and small with no variety. No real vegetarian options. They only had a few different kinds of beer; no local brews. I don't know why people recommend it, maybe because it's cheap? Or maybe they were messing with us? It made me feel disgusting to eat there. We were grossed out by the place, it was bad. The bathroom was really dirty too. We'll never go back there, I don't know how the place stays in business. If you want good mexican food, go to Playa Azul on Arapahoe. Or Soul Azteca is good, located near the Diagonal Shopping Center. Neither of these places are expensive either, and they are both much better than Efrains.
