My husband and I decided to try Sushi Tora based on tripadvisor reviews. We arrived on a Thursday at 6:30pm and the place was packed!
We waited 40 minutes for a place at the sushi bar and decided to be seated at a table instead.
The staff was extremely friendly and service was great. I always like seeing all the staff helping each other out during a rush period. Our hostess cleared our table and got us drinks.
I highly recommend the rainbow roll and the sake box with a really good sake. It was wonderful! Always try any sushi specials.
The only problem was the turnover at the sushi bar was extremely slow. A party of six sat there for over two and one half hours. I wish there was a rule for the maximum number of people in one party allowed at the bar. I'm sure it is killing their business. The entire restaurant could be a big sushi bar and perhaps they could have a separate area for tea and dessert.
Get there early or late for a spot at the bar.
Nevertheless, we will be back.
