“Surprising But Great Find!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2013

Great place to spend a couple of hours and discover more about the art of herbal tea making. Sign up for a free tour as soon as you arrive (you're given a single tea bag sachet as your ticket – e.g. the "Peppermint" or "Black Cherry" group). Then before your slot (as well as afterwards!) make the most of tasting as many varieties as you want from their comprehensive "menu". Some are ready made in bulk, but they'll happily make you a cup of whatever you fancy!

The tour is interesting - a short film about the history of the company and factory, followed by a trip around the factory floor, with a great guide explaining every stage of the tea bag production. The mint room is not to be missed!

At the end of the tour is an extensive and really very good gift shop, where you can, of course, buy all boxes of all the varieties of tea that Celestial produce among other things. They're reasonably priced and, as I said, you can taste any you're interested in before making the decision to buy (which I think is great - it was hard to choose coz there were so many good ones!).

“Make a Week Day Tea Time”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

Maybe it is great to watch them process the tea, but we went on a Saturday and they weren't working....which would have been totally fine and entertaining with what was there, except our guide kept saying "I know this is boring right now," or "usually we are doing interesting things". What questions were asked got responses like, "I don't know...they are machines." Loved the mint room, being on the factory floor and seeing products from all over the world, and the history. There is a great mile long path around the factory where you can see feisty prarie dogs up close. A great side trip for the college tourist.

“Free factory tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

It was great to see the inner-workings of a production factory. This location makes all of the Celestial Seasonings Tea in the world. We got a free one-hour tour with a knowledgeable guide and got to see tons of ingredients, some robots and the mint room.

“Best Free Tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2013

Learn all about the amazing process of making tea! Celestial Seasonings offers a great tour that brings guests onto their factory floors. You can also taste test a myriad of teas before/after the tour. Of course, they end the tour in their gift shop. But they are selective about the quality of goods they sell. Great for families, but note children must be at least 5 to go on the full tour.

“very cool...and free too!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2013

Have you ever wanted just to taste one of the teas from Celestial Seasonings? then that alone could motivate you to stop out and visit this place. We waited just 30 mins and tasted to our hearts delight and then took the tour. Afterwards, the gift shop sells all the teas and more products.
This was fun and interesting too. I would go again.
