First I'd like to say that we stayed in a lot of budget hotels all over the country, so we are not spoiled and our expectations were low. But, this hotel is truly the worst.
We have arrived, got our room keys and proceeded to the room. The keys didn't work, went back to the office, get them reprogrammed, went back - the keys didn't work. And we did try them every way 5 times, but didn't work. Went back into the office and we were told that they have issues with the keys, so the clerk reprogramed a 3d set of keys and went with us and finally one key worked, but only one, the second still didn't. That didn't seem to bother the clerk and he left.
I've made this reservation over the phone with the hotel staffer directly and one thing that I've requested and made sure to repeat 3 times was refrigerator. I've been told that some rooms have it and that my reservation was booked for the room with a mini fridge. Once we finally got into our room we've realized that there is no mini fridge and on top of it the room smells awful. So we went back into the office for the 4th time and told the clerk a few times that we need the fridge. He said Ok, got us new keys and we went back again to check our new room, the room was ok, but to our surprise there was no fridge. Went back into the office, he said he needs to call his manager, so we waited for some time and he got us new keys yet again, this new room smelled like vomit all over. So we went back into the office again. He gave us new room and pointed us in the wrong direction, we were looking for our room for 10 minutes and had to go back into the office and then he said he was sorry, but the room was in a different building and he forgot that. when we finally got into the room it had a fridge, but it smelled too, and had only 1 bed, but we made a reservation for 2 queens. So we had to go back again and the clerk was very surprised that there was only 1 bed! After this point we just left, we should have done it earlier, but it was late and we were tired.
We checked into Days inn, which was near by and we had a totally different experience, no issues at all and MUCH nicer, renovated and clean rooms at the same price.
Run away from this dump.
Even if you don't care about the fridge, or circling the building for 10 times in search for your room, don't stay here because this hotel is a dump. Rooms are very filthy, old, stinky and depressing.

I would like to sincerely apologize for your unfortunate experience you had at our hotel. Mistakes were made on the part of our staff that should never have occured and for that I am personally sorry.
First, the young lady that made your initial reservation was only with us a brief time and did not immediately assign you a room as she should have. So, when you checked in late, our Over Night Desk Clerk had to juggle to meet all your room requirements.
Unfortunately, there were some unexpected room changes made as the Over Night Clerk tried to find you a room you liked. I must say, however, that we have not had any mentions about the smell in our rooms. There have been subsiquent guests that have stayed in those very same rooms without any complaints of odd aromas or other room appointments.
There was a misunderstanding about the last room you were given. It does have two beds. We upgraded you at no additional charge into a King-King Suite. If a guest were to just flip on the light and take a cursory glance of the room, the guest might not notice that there is a second whole bedroom with it's own separate King sized bed, TV, dresser, night stands, lamps,... This suite we last assigned you had two separate King sized beds with two separate TVs, table, chairs, dressers, armoire, refridgerator, vanity with sink, full bath with toilet, sink, full sized tub.
I can tell by your words that you feel very stongly about your experience here. But if you were to give us a second chance, we'd be more than happy to give you the same or a different suite. You could enjoy our sparkling outdoor pool, guest laundry, free newly upraded WiFi, expanded Continental Breakfast (including toast, cereals, juice, coffee, tea, bagels and cream cheese, French Toast, syrup, real butter, fresh fruits, etc.), gorgeous Mountain Views and convenient location right across from Colorado University.
We will take this opportunity to better train our staff so that no other guests will have unpleasant experiences as you have indicated. Again, I wish to issue a heartfelt apology for all the misunderstandings and would welcome an chance to serve you again here as our guests.
