Owner description: Situated in the heart of an energetic city is beautiful, historic Downtown Boulder. At the heart of Downtown Boulder is the Pearl Street Mall, a wonderfully charismatic four-block-long pedestrian mall that celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2007. Colorful, bright flowers fill the mall almost the entire year and street performers, with a multitude of talents, make the Pearl Street Mall one of the best people-watching destinations anywhere.

“Pearl Street Mall in April”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2012

Not sure how decorative this outdoor mall is in other season, but during my visit this past April, I particular loved the large variety of tulips grown stretches through out the whole 4 blocks of Pearl Street Mall. The mall itself a good selection of stores, restaurants, boutiques and sidewalk cafes. There were plenty of parking in the downtown area which is only minutes away from this pedestrian mall.

“Need many hours”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2012

I could have spent many more hours exploring the great shops at the Pearl Street Mall. Buskers, street performers and great atmosphere. However, there were the pesky panhandlers and Greenpeace militants to deal with as well. I learned to walk with purpose. Great stores in a lovely atmosphere, though.

“Everything's there.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2012

It's sort of commercial, of course, but still cool after all these years, with everything from pubs to coffee shops to boutique clothing imported from Nepal.

“Great Place to Visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2012

Amazing place to visit, eat, shop and drink. Had a great time on Pearl St. for our anniversery. We were lucky enough to also have a Fall Fest going on which heightened our experience even more.

“What a FUN place to be!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012

We stopped by Boulder and the Pearl Street Mall to end a two week vacation in Colorado. Boulder itself is amazing with the mountains nearly in your back pocket but the PSM was so much fun. It is not full of chain stores. Almost every store is unique. For example, we stopped by a place that sold a variety of items including some very unique tiles that we fell in love with. The vibe was very relaxed. It really felt like a college town. Madison Wisconsin is an example but it is less crazy and busy than Madison. For a snap judgement, we would live in Boulder if we were going to live in an urban environment in Colorado.
