This COULD be a great little shopping strip, BUT.... it was a bit of a freak show. We have a 10&7 year old and felt like we had to hold their hands the whole time because of the shady people hanging around. I have never seen so many young homeless people in my life. These looked like 20 something year old, bohemian type young people that needed to be working instead of walking around with their "broke, sexy, anything helps" sign around their neck! I mean does this really work for them? There were many half dressed doped up looking people. We were approached 4 times in 45 min by these young and able bodied beggars. Boulder needs to stop the loitering before their treasured Pearl Street Mall turns into crime alley! On the other hand, the highlights are this: Pasta Jays, great little restaurant!!! Loved it. Into the Wind, beautiful and unique toy store we could spend hours in. Many cute shops and other eateries looked fun. Hope they clean up this area before it gets out of control.
