“Fine Dining”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2014

My son and daughter-in-law and I enjoyed a lovely dinner at Farraddays. We ordered an appetizer of Crispy Tempura Shrimp and individual entrees of Prime Rib, Alaskan King Crab Legs and a large Seafood Platter. Everything was delicious and we took home leftovers for a feast the next day. The atmosphere was quiet and the table settings were appropriate for a fine dining experience. If I win a bet on the 2014 Superbowl, like I did in 2013, we will return

“Great service, great wine”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2014

The food and the service were perfect. Our waiter Brook suggested a wine called Sonoma Coutrier and it was just the right touch to make dinner perfect.

“STEAK!”

Great food, awesome wine, Excellent service, Wonderful atmosphere, Great decor. The Isle really out did themselves with this place. Just make sure you go here before you gamble or you'll be eating at the burger stand.

“The Finest Filet”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2013

It isn't often that my groom and I splurge and have a truly fine dinning experience, but thanks to our comps, we tried the Isle of Capri's Farraddays Steak House. It was our last night in Black Hawk. We dined in a quiet nicely decorated restaurant and felt like we were in a famous private restaurant.

A lovely bread basket with oil greeted our arrival, but we are wheat-free by choice and when we told the server, she took it off the table immediately so we weren't unnecessarily teased. Our waiter, Nate, assisted us with our order to give us a superb dining experience. We had the Filet Mignon, sauteed mushrooms, and a huge slice of cheesecake that was simply to die for! The vegetables are served family style, so we had plenty of food with the more than ample-sized filet as well as the shared cheesecake. The Food and Beverage Manager, John Graziano, visited our table to welcome us and inquire as to our satisfaction with the meal (of course we said yes). He voiced true interest in us and our time at the Isle.

Do we recommend eating at Farraddays? We absolutely plan to include a meal at Farraddays with future trips to Black Hawk and highly recommend the dining experience to our friends and family.

“Change of Pace”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2013

Nice quiet restaurant away from the hustle and noise of the gaming area. Service and atmosphere makes you feel like you're not in a casino. They have an extensive wine list, and the prices are what you would fine in most upscale restaurants.
