Mark is not only a gracious host of the most gorgeous B&B in town, but, you will find his culinary skills to be extraordinary compared to anywhere that side of the Mississippi!
Safe, conducive to study (the reason I was there), generous friendship at the level to which you personally feel comfortable, perfect location for walking to the variety of local eateries for dinner and you simply can not beat the price for the quality!
I will add photos as soon as I have a moment, but, they don't do this place justice!
I stayed in the French Room and spent the entire time just ooh-ing and ahh-ing every time I turned around and found another little trinket of joy (like the lavender scented soap, or the programmable ceiling fan, etc.)!
I investigated each room, changing my mind (difficult task with so many to choose from!) twice before I finally unpacked for the week long stay here. If you like light and airy and sweet, the round bed in the center of the castle-like round room in the French Room is for you!!
If you prefer the darker atmosphere, choose the almost underground Egyptian room with it's oversized jacuzzi tub (with a shower head for convenience!) and heated ceramic tile floors!
No matter which room you choose, Mark and Jessie (the GORGEOUS and oh-so-sweet house dog) will make you want to live there instead of just 'passin' through'!
