At the hiking center everyone was very helpful and very nice. They helped a lot with finding the best hike and finding our way there.
Center director, Nate Goldberg, is one of the kindest, gentlest people you'll ever meet. And one of the most knowledgeable when it comes to anything having to do with the mountains. You will always feel safe and protected when hiking with Nate. He has handpicked an excellent team so that if you don't happen to be out with Nate, you can rest assured his staff is well-trained.
If at all possible, hike a 13er or 14er with Nate. You'll experience the mountains like your never expected. He is a motivator, a leader, a seasoned guide and the person you want to have around when you aren't feeling so good thanks to the altitude. He will prod you to drink, so be prepared AND do as he says as he knows best.
