Wow, what a wonderful visit to Bachelor Gulch Condos in Colorado! The only flaw in our stay was the weather, and unfortunately, there's no controlling that.
We arrived in time to settle in before sunset, and within minutes, had a visit by a beautiful fox outside our patio door. He stayed around for quite some time, allowing us plenty of opportunity to observe, through the glass, of course. After the fox got bored with us and left, we checked out the rest of the condo. It was absolutely magnificent! It was beautifully furnished, complete with granite countertops in the kitchen & baths, a rich color scheme throughout and yet so warm and inviting. We were reluctant to leave for dinner. We wanted to enjoy every minute possible.
Also, even though we reserved a 2 bedroom, we were given a 3 bedroom unit. I presume it was because of being such a slow time for the resort. All the better for us.
The down side was that several of the local shops were not open yet. However, we did enjoy an awesome lunch at the Ritz-Carlton. Our only regret was that our stay was too short. I'm already making plans to return next fall. It is such a great value in the off season
