“Beaver Creek Skiing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2013

snow was not great while we were there but we have been there before when it was awesome, and we were disappointed that they were not making snow for the major runs

“Love it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2013

Long wide runs for all levels of skiers. SUPER nice staff everywhere, ultimate friendliness, in fact, the friendliest in the business! Warm Chocolate chip cookies bottom of Centennial run every day at 3pm. Fast quad ski lifts. Variety of terrain - groomed and powder. What's not to LOVE? Beaver Creek never disappoints.

BC is great as it split up easily into green, blue and black which makes it great mountain to learn to ski at .

“Exclusive Country Club Meets Amazing Ski Mountain Terrian”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2013

I just wanted to give some brief comments on my first two days of my experiences at Beaver Creek ski resort.

I have never skied in America before ... but have in Switzerland, France and Poland.

The ski area is just some of the most beautiful I have ever skied.

Amazing.

This is a created resort that even as escalators for 15 feet to get you closer to the lifts.

Great signage. Great representatives.

There is lots and lots of competition for Ski customers around the world (and indeed, the Vail resort groups prices are now higher than the comparable top resorts in Europe due to their need to be attract snow sport customers during a prolonged 4 year economic downturn and their strategies of price promotions outside key dates).

Some less good things:

It is not cheap here. Anywhere ... from the food to the lift prices to the the parking if you come and visit ($33 if you drive into the resort.

The country club feel does have a few limitations ... a little sterile when compared to say Breck ... and a limit to the diversity of people who can afford or are attracted to such a place ... eg. their slogan sums it up "not exactly roughing it"

But you kind of get what you pay for. But slightly tinted by a feeling of profit maximisation in all areas.

In summary ... my own experiences have made what was ordinary (going skiing at a resort) ... extraordinary.

“I liked their longer steep fall line slopes better than Vail's”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

You can ski more vertical here in a day than at Vail, and the lifts seem a little faster as well. Nice grooming as well makes it a little more fun.
