“Unbelievable time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013

This was our second visit...and we have already booked for next year. You can't ask for anything more from a ski hotel. Steps from the gondola, ski school, and Centennial lift. The ski valet, fire pit, s'mores, fireworks, incredible staff. Very good restaurant and room service. Great concierge, lift ticket office onsite. And, as opposed to the other luxury hotel in BC, you are right in the village.

We stayed in a Highlands Suite which was perfect. Nice touches, like desert every night, and an all-inclusive mini bar. Lots of bottled water also helped adjust to the altitude.

There is literally nothing I would change about this hotel other than their affiliation with Pepsi. There again, the general store in the village is a 2 minute walk if you need a diet coke fix.

Room Tip: Ask for a slope side view.

“Great experience ski in ski out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013 via mobile

I love this place. It's expensive, and I'm not just talking about the room. I paid $21 for a house glass of wine at happy hour in the den area downstairs. Roasting marshmallows was free and made me feel 10 years old again. Service was top notch. Location was perfect. Rooms were good. Room service breakfast was subpar for this quality of hotel (ours was cold and poorly cooked). I didn't complain about it because We were so happy with our stay that we could overlook it. I'd recommend staying here if convenience, service, and comfort are important to you. Great times all around. Ill be back one day, once I've saved the money!

“The Best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

Spent 1 week at the Park Hyatt and can't wait to go back. The level of care and courtesy by the staff is outstanding, and I've never felt so comfortable at a hotel. From the ski valets to the front desk to the spa, everything was outstanding. Great location, though I did get tired of taking the huge flights of stairs up from the village late at night.
Love the apres ski smores. I've never seen so much chocolate, marshmallows and graham crackers in one place, and they never let it run out. They just keep bringing more and more.
Only criticism is the restaurant - ate at a number of different restaurants in BC, and was only disappointed by 8100. Food was average, service was average.

“Great place for all”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

This was our first trip to Colorado. We took our kids too because we were there for a family wedding. Our kids ages ranged from 9 to 23 and they all had great time. They hiked, swam in the pool, laid around in the hot tub, ice skated and jumped on a trampoline. There was plenty to do to keep the kids occupied. We even found a little adult time as the cousins hung out. The wedding was on the grounds with a reception in a private room of the restaurant. The food was excellent as well as the cake. The service was exceptional as well. Worth a visit.

“Location Location!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

Having stayed at most of the hotels and condo properties in Beaver Creek, I think the location here is by far the best. You are right on the slopes and in the village, making it very easy to try different places for lunch and dinner.

While they have definitely updated their decor, the bathrooms were clearly missed. The tub was borderline gross, at first I thought the cleaning people missed spots but it was just wear and tear on the tub. The beds were very clean and comfortable, and the rooms were large. It was also nice to have a balcony. My only other complaint is that the rooms are not very soundproof, there were times we felt like we were sitting in our neighbors room participating in their conversation.

The main space of the hotel is definitely it's draw. From the live music in the lobby and the bar to the fireplace outside, this hotel is definitely the place to be. I must say though, if you are looking for a romantic getaway, I'm not sure if this is it. It's definitely geared towards families. McCoys and Shannon Tanner is right next door, which is by far my favorite place for Apres ski.

While pricey, if you can afford it, this is one of the best hotels in Beaver Creek.
