“Good but pricy!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013 via mobile

Had a ski lunch here. Unusually wide selection of food for a ski resort lunch, loved the baked potato bar. The main dish prices are not out of line for the location, but they really get you on the drinks and extras. $5.25 for a bottled water or Gatorade! My teenage son added pretzels, a cliff bar and a candy bar to his lunch, which added $15-$20 to the bill!

Thank you for taking the Time to Write a Review of our Restaurant.

We work hard to provide a Wide Variety of Dining Options to our Guests and Strive to Provide the Highest Quality Available. Many of our Prices do Range on the higher end. We Have Some Higher Overhead Expenses than Most Restaurants; due to the Location on the Ski Hill and have to adjust our pricing to absorb the Costs.

We are glad you enjoyed the Baked Potato Bar, which gives a Great Value to our Guests. Please come back and visit us again and try some of our new Items, Including Lobster Tacos, Prime Rib Sandwich and Fresh Rolled Sushi.

Thank You,

“High Altitude Eating”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2013

You would not go to this restaurant if you were not already on the mountain, but for a quick lunch in a good full service facility, this does the job. I like the bowls of chili, but it is a comfort food kind of place with cafeteria style service. Always bustling and busy and a good place to warm up. The prices are higher than you would pay at normal altitudes ($35 for a couple of chillis and a hot chocolate) but the convenience makes it worth it.

“Great place to warm up and eat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

The Spruce Saddle was the best mountain top restaurants I have ever eaten at. The staff is wonderful and will go out of their way to assist with anything. The had the chance to meet the Manager Jennifer, and she was super friendly. The price was competitive with other on mountain dinning, but the food was better. The selection is great! Every time we visit BC we make it a point to stop in this great establishment. Upstairs bar is great for catching part of a sporting event. Great views of the Gore Range!!

“Big crowds, good food & very high price”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 24, 2012

The food is good but it is served cafeteria style and carrying a tray of food up stairs with ski boots is very hard. The tables are large with very little space between them so when the places fills, you can hardley move in or out. I paid $36 for a burger, a bowl of chili and a soda. They were stingey with adding things like onions to the burger or the chili, even when I asked for more. I wouldn't have felt quite so bad about it if there at least had been an option for table service, but no.

Sheldon,

Thanks for taking your Valuable Time to Write a Review of our Restaurant, we appreciate the Feedback. We are continuously trying to find ways to maximize our Seating, without it feeling too crowded. We will Take a Good Look at our Table Layout and perhaps try and find a less Congested Set-up. Thanks for the Input on the Station Attendants being Stingy on the Toppings, We will make sure to discuss this and Make it a non-Issue as we move forward.

We are Glad you enjoyed the Quality of Food and Please Come back and See us again. Feel Free to find me in Person for any Additional Feedback.

Happy Holiday's!

“Great selection for lunch on the ski slopes”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2012

We were amazed at the selection of food items at this ski area cafeteria/lodge at top of Centennial Lift at Beaver Creek. There were 4 kinds of chillies. I had the vegetarian and it was great! My husband enjoyed his chilli over sweet potato and my kids liked their wraps (burritos?). Pricey, but then ALL ski area lunch food is pricey. The setting was nice, comfy & sunny. Easy in & out of the lodge. If we'd known we would have eaten lunch there every day.
