Very clean and comfortable room. Exceptionally nice for a budget motel. Breakfast was adequate but a very small breakfast area. Wireless internet connection was somewhat erratic.

Hotel is at the North end of town, most restaurants, shopping etc at other end-about 2-3 miles.Room was okay had micro, frig, safe. Had ants in the bathroom . Pool outside, not covered. At night wanted to let the kids swim, but there were several adults drinking/partying inside pool area. Pd over $80 for one night for 5. charged $5 extra for 5th person.Next time, We'd pay $20 more to stay elsewhere.
I booked the reservation with this motel and then cancelled it in plenty of time, and when i got my bank statement they charged me for a room that i never stayed in. I called the motel and the manager said they never received the cancellation. he told me to call customer service and they told me to call the motel. they would not credit me so i got stuck with a 70 dollar bill for not staying there. so i would not recommend this hotel or any other super 8 for their total lack of service.
This Super 8 is far from being the "nicest Super 8" as one reviewer says. Inside and outside it looks like a relict from the early 70s. Yes, the rooms are big and they are also clean. But that is about all you can say in terms of positive comments. The furniture looks worn, the decor is cheap, and the bath hardly up to today's standards. Truckers park right in front of your window and you can't avoid them because all rooms open towards the same parking lot. Bring a "white noise" machine to have a good night's rest! Let's not talk about the so-called breakfast: it was the worst I had in a Super 8 so far. Spend a bit more money and stay at one of the hotels in Weed (Holiday Inn Express, Comfort Inn) - you will not regret it.
I have always felt that Super 8 motels are overpriced for what they are but we decided to give this one a chance and it only re-affirmed our opinions. We were travelling with two small children (5 months and 2 years old) and one of the reasons we chose this property is that they advertised that children stay free. At check in I explained we had children but that we'd like a king bed room as we travel with our own cribs, we had done this the rest of the trip with no problems (there's usually more room for cribs with only bed and hey, king size beds are just better). I was told this was not possible and that we'd need a room with two queen size beds because there wouldn't be enough towels for our kids, a joke given the very young age of our children. Anyway not only did we have to contend with the cramped space we actually had to pay extra for it. As far as the motel itself, it's so so at best, dated decor and as another reviewer noted you're bound to be woken early by truckers. As far as breakfast goes, wonder bread, watery coffee and Sunny Delight don't cut it as far as I'm concerned.
