Honestly, after reading some of these reviews we were not prepared for the wonderful time we experienced. The host, Kathleen was very nice, friendly and provided everything we expected and more. The breakfasts were delicious, creative and filling. Our room was more comfortable than what we find in most B&Bs we stay in.
Perfectly placed to visit the wineries north on Hwy 29 or a quick trip to Silverado Trail amont many other opportunities. Close to Yountville's many excellent restaurants including the French Laundry and Ad Hoc. Yes, the property is located on Hwy 29 which can be very busy with all kinds of vehicles but we were never bothered by the noise. Our room opened to a balcony on the highway side but we found it so well insulated we slept very well. The poster queen bed was comfortable.
Coffee was good and ready early in the morning and an ample supply of soft drinks and water were provided. The property was full both nights and we were never disturbed. There was absolutely no offensive smoke order as some have indicated. This was an excellent stay for us and we would use it again if the occasion presents it self.
