I was completely shocked to read these reviews! I too have ate at Pacific Blues and had a great time. The place is small and cozy and the food was terrific. The waitress was very knowledgable about what she was serving and recommended both lunch and beverage. I had a Kona longboard lager and a southern spiced coal train cajun burger (a name thats hard to forget) I would surely recommend Pacific Blues to anyone who wants a good meal for a great value!

I ate at Pacific Blues 2 days in a row for lunch in February. I agree with the other reviewer that the wait staff are inpatient, unorganized and somewhat rude. I also agree that the food is great. We wanted sandwiches, nachos and beer within walking distance of our hotel. All of the restaurants around Pacific Blues are higher end and charge twice as much. I wouldn't recommend it to vegetarians. People that like greasy food will love this place. I highly recommend the onion rings and any sandwich with bacon.

Had the unfortunate experience of eating at the Pacific Blues Cafe when we were on a wine country tour. Both my boyfriend and I are vegetarian. We ordered the only two vegetarian items on the menu..the Bullet Train Veggie Sandwich and their "specialty" Veggie Style Black Beans. We got the sandwich about ten minutes before the other dish. It was abysmal and there were virtually no french fries as the side dish. Then the second meal came and on top was a huge piece of chicken. We informed one of the waitresses..not ours as she could not be found. The waitress took it back and told us another veggie dish would be made. We waited another ten minutes when our original waitress arrived at our table with the dish again...chicken and all. I explained once again that I had ordered the vegetarian version. She took it back and finally the right dish arrived..I almost wish it hadn't. It was disgusting.....essentially a can of black beans with a spoonful of pizza sauce on top, an inedible hunk of something that was supposed to be corn bread, a slab of grilled zucchini and a chunk of grilled mushroom.

All in all the dining experience at the Pacific Blues Cafe was horrible. The service was clueless, disorganized, unhelpful, and rude, the price was ridiculous for what you got and the food was just plain awful. I'd never recommend it and would instead tell anyone forced to eat in Yountville to avoid the restaurant at all costs.

I ordered a honey wheat beer, the server brought me what was undeniably a Budweiser (ick!) when I softly brought it to her attention, she proceeded to argue with me, "no it's not! I poured it myself!"

I told her someone must have mixed the hoses in their keg area, and asked for another type of beer. This must of ticked her off, because the whole rest of the meal, she refused to clear our appetizers, refill our waters or even go near our table again. Another server brought out our food (which was wrong by the way) I ordered a BLT with guacamole, it was put on the side by mistake...she held it up above the table and said "who got the guac on the side?" when no one responded, she got all bothered and rolled her eyes!

Bottom line, NEVER argue with your customers...even when they're wrong, but especially when they're right or you may up with a bad review on Tripadvisor.

Too bad, because the food is great, but I won't go back and I live in town.
