In early May, I attempted to make a reservation for late June via the restaurant reservation line. I began calling first thing in the morning and after TWO HOURS of consistent busy signals, I nearly gave up. After checking the restaurant web site, I discovered customers could make reservations via Open Table.com After attempting to make a reservation and spending an eternity checking different dates, I quickly realized only ONE table is available for reservation for both, lunch and dinner. That was also a bust! Several hours later, I decided to try the phone again and actually got a live person. She was extremely friendly and courteous but explained that because I wasn't calling precisely two months in advance, to the day, I could not make a reservation for the requested date. I then tried to make a reservation for a date much further in the future for our anniversary and I was told I must call exactly two months in advance (calendar months, not 60 days in advance). Honestly, I was so disgusted by the process and the telephone maze you must jump through, I graciously thanked her and hung up. I am sure the food is impeccable and the service stellar. There simply must be a better way!
