We arrived Valentine's evening and were promptly seated. The dining room and bar were full and the restaurant had a very pleasant buzz. Will, our server, was always there when you needed him and was not when you did not. Service was excellent. Four of us shared a sublime lobster bisque followed by the best smoked salmon carpaccio you will ever experience. Boeuf Bourguignon tasted as if Julia herself had prepared it. Scallops were perfectly prepared in a subtle cream sauce and lamb chops were flawless. A dessert of creme brulee with a dark chocolate mousse topping made us wonder why no one had thought of this before. There's more but I cannot go on....you get the idea. Prices are reasonable for the quality, atmosphere and service delivered, and less than other fine restaurants in Napa Valley.
