Jessy Carvalhocs was fabulous!!!! She helped us from beginning to end -- Offering extra pours based on our likes and dislikes and then helping us imagine our Carbernet flavor with dark chocolate Hersey kisses. If you go to Goosecross, I highly recommend her!! Enjoy!!!

“Skip this place because they'll skip you!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2012

My boyfriend and I went on a limo wine tour in Napa and this place was 2nd on the way. We went in, lined up and each couple got to taste some wine at the bar looking winery. We just lined up and my boyfriend and I happen to be at the very end. The guy pouring the wine would on occassion totally ignore us. I don't know if it's because we looked young and weren't going to buy wine or if he just didn't have a sense of organization where you pour wine for the people in order and don't skip the people at the end - either way, he kept skipping us. It was really bad when we wanted to buy wine before leaving: Let's say there's 5 couple and we're couple # 5 at the very end. He serves couple # 2, #3, #4 .and visibly we were ready to order some wine and couple #1 speaks up and he serves them first. I was very disappointed with this winery. Skip this place and go somewhere else for better customer service!

Dear Apeleila2,
We are very sorry to hear about your unfortunate experience at Goosecross. Please take a look at our other reviews online, and you'll see that your experience was unusual. On the day you visited, we had two employees out ill which over-burdened the staff we had working that day, and led to the inability to provide the service we have become well-known for in the Valley. Where this is not an excuse for how you felt during your visit or how you were treated, it is human reality. Just so you know, our employees have no incentive to sell wine. Their incentive is based upon customer service and the development of genuine relationships. We truly hope you'll give us another chance if your travels bring you back to Yountville, and feel free to contact me personally. We do care and want to provide a better experience for you next time. Thank you.

“One of my favorite wineries”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2012

We visited on July 5 and as always Goosecross did not disappoint. The wines are fabulous and the tasting room staff is always friendly, attentive, and never pretentious. I am a wine club member and will return here again and again. I have brought many friends here and it is always an enjoyable experience.
