What a wonderful place to stay. My wife and I have stayed at a few of the hotels in Yountville many times, vintage inn, napa valley lodge, villagio and yountville inn. All are very nice places to stay, but you pay a premium especially on holiday weekends. I picked Lavender because the reviews here were so good, plus it was anywhere from $100-$200 less a night. With that money we could buy a nice meal or take a bottle of our favorite wine home. We stayed 2 nights and the service was wonderful, everyone at the hotel is so helpful. They serve morning breakfast from 8:30 to 10 which was wonderful-not just rolls and butter but a full breakfast. They have cheese and wine between 4:30-6:30 but we were never around to try-it. There are 8 rooms to the property, 6 of them are cottages-I recommend you get a cottage if you can, almost like having your own place. It was very quiet. Also a big plus is you can walk to all the nice resturants. Redd, AD Hoc, Hurleys,Bistro Jeanty, Bouchan and of course French Laundry. My wife and I will be back, it was a wonderful place. They even had welcome cards on the bed(with your first names) when you arrive. NOW thats service!!!
