We're staying in the Woodland Days Inn right now (I'm posting this using their free wireless internet).
Overall, the hotel is dated and worn. The furniture is barely hanging on (this table in my room is creaky and wobbly). But that's no big deal.
The main problem is the smell. As soon as you walk into the lobby, there is a very strong curry/spice smell. The owner or operator is East Indian, and apparently lives in the hotel and cooks very spicy food there, and the entire hotel has a very, very strong smell. Maybe I'd feel differently if I was East Indian, but as a Canadian, it is horrible.
This was our last resort ... we hadn't booked anything for this leg of our road trip, but if we had any other options we wouldn't be here. Neither should you.
