“Quiet street and nice rooms”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2012

The rooms are nicely decorated and the beds are very comfy. Great Breakfast area with an outside patio access in good weather. Pool area is lovely.

We stayed at this hotel Sept. 14 - 16, 2011. This is a really nice hotel for the area. Actually the only nice hotel we could find. It appears to be an orefurbished Best Western type hotel. The check-in staff was friendly and helpful. The only negative was a subsequent $35.00 additional charge to my credit card that appeared on my statement. I called and spoke with the manager and she said it was to replace a curtain on the closet that was ruined. I told her we did not even untie the curtain and certainly did not ruin it. She said she would check into it and get back with me. I waited until now thinking a credit would appear on my statement, but, alas it did not. Too bad...

Thank you for your recent stay! We appreciate our guests taking the time to let us know their thoughts.
As with most hotels, when our guests depart, we inventory the room. When things are damaged, as with car rentals, vacation home rentals, etc, we do have to charge for them. In this case the curtain was stained with a large orange stain that was beyond repair. Housekeeping had me look at the curtain, and it was no longer usable.
I did in fact speak with this guest and let her know about the large orange stain and why we had charged her.

The folks who run this Inn were all very nice and tried hard to make my stay as pleasant as possible. Though it's not a boutique hotel like other "Ascend Collection" properties I've stayed at, for a two story, outside hallway motel with stairs rather than elevators, it's as well appointed and maintained as I've seen. The beds were a bit firm but comfortable enough.
Atop the main building, there were two rooms that formed an abbreviated third story to the Inn. It's possible one of those could be worth the trek up 3 flights of stairs. I'll book one next time and let you know....

After checking several lodging options in the area, this is by far the best place for a fantastic stay in Willits! It's off the main road, which most of the other inns are not, and the setting is very pleasant with the Beachtel Creek right in the backyard of the inn. There is a delightful sitting area inside and out to take in the quaint setting. The bed was very comfortable and the room was incredibly clean and inviting. The full home-made breakfast was delicious and made for a great start to the day. The staff was friendly and the owners very accommodating. They take great pride to make sure that your stay is a good one and they're very knowledgeable of the area and recommended a great little restaurant in town, the Purple Thistle. (The dinner was delicious - had their home -made butternut ravioli and lime-cilantro calamari - yum!)

I highly recommend this inn - a great find in the northern CA hills - whether a destination place or just driving through.

Room Tip: They have three different types of rooms, Standard, Traditional and Premium, and I stayed in an upst...

The hotel is a little bit off the main highway just behind a McDonalds and a Taco Bell (so therefore pretty quiet).
From the outside it looked a bit historic and very welcoming.
The room was clean and the staff was very friendly. The room itself was not too big and was pretty average, the TV was also pretty old - but nothing really important to complain about.
The whole hotel property looked very neat and also the breakfast and pool areas were very inviting.
The complimentary breakfast itself was average at best (choices were limited, only the basic stuff).
But all in all I would definitely stay there again - a couple improvements (flat tv for instance or better breakfast) and I would have rated 5 points.

Thank you so much for your very positive review. We appreciate our guests taking the time to let others know our strenghts and areas where we can improve. We do have plans for flatscreen tvs in the very near future - we are looking forward to that! Our rooms also are being given a bit of a new look- our furnishings and bedding are new, however, we want to add some color and a little more pop to the traditional rooms. Thank you for your observations -- they are always appreciated!

We arrived at 9pm and they were very accommodating. My son and I had a wonderful spa/massage the next morning. I would say this is a very nice stop before heading to the Redwood Forest or anywhere in the Northern part of Cali.

My mother and I met my aunt up in Willits, had a wonderful night stay. Such a cute country inn. Immaculate rooms, hospitable staff and surprisingly wonderful breakfast that was fresh and not the typical prepackaged baked goods.

Enjoyed a massage and my mother had a facial she is still raving about.

Recommend highly. Will make it up again the next time I am in the area.

Room Tip: A deluxe room is an excellent value. Wonderful night sleep.
