“Great stop on way home”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2014

We recently stayed here for one night on our way home from Southern California. The room was quite small but very clean and was totally adequate. You can't beat the prices here and for one night we loved it.

Room was very small, an old style room recently re-fitted in a tastefully modern style
Room was very clean; the bed was comfortable with good sheets
Shower worked well, good towels.
Easy access to free Wi-Fi which worked well.
Only continental breakfast offered which was slim but the room price reflects this.
Very good value for money

This is the perfect place for a stopover when you are on the road. We have stayed here at least 10 times in the past few years. The rooms are small but nicely appointed and very clean. The owners are anxious to please and obviously proud of the work they do.

Traveler's is clean and quiet. The rooms are small but perfectly adequate. The management is friendly. It's a welcome change from the motel chains that proliferate along I-5...........................................

What a pleasant surprise. Sweet little clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Located on a quiet street just far enough off the I-5. We will use this stop in the future going up and down the 5 from Vancouver to Palm Springs.

Room Tip: We ate at Louis Cairo's down the street. Great little restaurant!

As a hospitality manager myself, this hotel was a lovely surprise! I booked online after reading trip advisor reviews, it had a great price, great reviews, and was pet friendly. We were moving across California and needed a stopover. We showed up at around 5 or 6 on a Friday with a 26 ft uhaul, a truck, and a dog. The gentleman managing the desk was great, check in was a breeze, and as he was walking me to our room he took one look at the uhaul and moved us to the closer side of the hotel where the uhaul would be safe, I wish I had gotten his name but I hope that he knows by this review who we were and that his service was appreciated.. The room was clean and comfortable, we slept great, and in the morning had the breakfast, where I was greeted by another desk agent who was quick to tell me where to locate hot cocoa and hot water, as well as food trays to take food back to the room. All in all the stay was great, the only thing that I would suggest to management would be the addition of an extra blanket in each closet, I was a bit cold during the night but did not want to bother anyone. Thanks for a great stay, we will be staying here on any trips back to see our family in Monterey!

Williams is a very small town along !-5 in central California. A great overnight stop. The room is small but set up very efficiently. Extremely clean, with plenty of electrical plugs for phones, computers, etc. Free Wi-Fi Internet, continental breakfast. Have stayed there 3 times when travelling and will continue to stay.
