“67.00 taxes included-really?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2013

I am always a little leery when bargain shopping for hotels online. We wanted to make it above Sacramento for our trip to Medford. Williams for the spot to head for. I looked on Trip Advisor for recommendations and found the Travelers Inn which was right in the middle of the ratings-it also was pet friendly and since our miniature Aussie was coming-we needed that. Because of one of the reviews, I asked for a corner room and it was pet friendly and it was ours. This was an old motor touring hotel at one time but it is completely refurbished. Completely updated modern bathroom, new paint, furniture, carpet and the bed was comfortable. The room is small, but we were only spending the night. I am writing this at a marble topped table before we head to Medford. They have a lovely pool, workout room and laundry facilities. I would definitely stay here again. BTW Lizzy was 15.00 extra but she loved it too. Because they double sheeted the blanket, we let her sleep on the bed and all 3 of us slept perfectly.

A convenient stop off from the freeway, the Traveler's Inn is quite small but friendly, decently equipped, clean and CHEAP. No real frills but what do you expect for the prices? The breakfast is minimal. It did the job and I slept pretty well. You could do a lot worse for a night's sleep on the road but I wouldn't come here for a holiday!

Clean and comfortable rooms with a continental breakfast, nice people who check you in and the price is right! There are not many places to stay if you travel along Interstate 5 that are as nice as this is. The rooms have been updated and feel uncrowded. I would stay here again.

We stayed at the Traveler's Inn for one night while en route to a family function. The price is very reasonable and a truly great value. It seems to be a family-run establishment, and it is clear that they take pride in it. The person who checked us in walked us over to the room himself and showed us how various things worked (heating unit, television).

The rooms are not large-- It was close quarters for two people and a couple pieces of luggage. The rooms have been updated and painted fairly recently, and they are comfortable and even more important, extremely clean.

The addition of a small coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, and personal care items is a nice touch, as is the continental breakfast that is offered in the morning. All the rooms face a road, so there is some noise intrusion; but, it wasn't loud enough to affect the quality of our sleep.

I wished there had been some counter space besides the tiny glass ledge under the mirror in the bathroom. It makes getting ready a bit more challenging if you use makeup or hair appliances. Without redesigning the bathroom, there's nowhere to put one-- but it's the one thing I wished I had.

I have stayed here 3 times and its the best deal around. The rooms are clean and the hosts go out of there way to accommodate you.Try Louis Cairos for dinner if you want a good dining experience. ( the garlic bread is incredible). You even get a discount when you show your room key. Also Cache Creek Casino and Yocha Dehe golf course are less than a hour away.

Nice clean rooms that feel like home...crown moulding and all! It's conveniently located off the '5' which always helps. Esp when you've been traveling, you're tired and don't want to deal with complex directions. We are fully taking advantage of the fridge, microwave, coffee maker, continental breakfast and free WiFi! It's a smaller motel which we appreciate too (just a personal preference of ours). Love it! We actually wish we had a couple extra days to lounge here but we only have one night to spare. I highly recommended this motel to anyone who needs a room in this area!!

This was our 3rd visit to this delightful motel and it just keeps getting better! This family takes a great deal of pride in their motel and they are superb hosts. The koi pond with it's waterfall adds a welcoming ambiance to the grounds and they have added a small fitness center and guest laundry. The rooms are well- appointed with a pleasant decor and most importantly they are spotlessly clean. It is a boutique-spa setting without the spa price. If you are looking for a small quiet and comfortable place--this is it.

Also, if you are a birder, the Colusa NWR, part of the complexes of NWRs in the Sacramento Valley, is about 8 miles north. The waterfowl are currently migrating south and the wetlands are teeming with birds.

Room Tip: Any would be fine.
