service unbelievably bad. not even deliberate. these folks actually have no idea what they are doing. not to mention the food...yeccchhhh. gristle instead of steak. Chef Boyardee sauce instead of homemade tomatoe sauce..and they even switched wine bottles on me trading a cheaper one instead of the first one I had oredered and passing it off as the first label...!!

We had 730 reservations, we arrived at 715. At 9pm we were still waiting for a table. The entire time they kept claiming it would only be 10 more minutes. The hostest was about 16 and useless. The owner was seating his friends before everyone. People kept giving up and leaving. People were also grumbling that theyd been waiting an hour for their food. Never were we offered free drinks or appetizers or even an apology for our wait. The owner kept explaining the were busy and touching my arm in a creepy way. We finally went to Fins a few doors down and had a fabulous experience there. We will never return to Galletos!

A little too much hype for this place. The calamari is wonderful, but the service could definitely use improvement.

This restaurant is unassuming but has a special charm, with food that is delectable. The other night my wife and I shared what had to be the best Caesar salad ever, lobster bisque that was unreal and with a lot of succulent lobster, and a pasta with really wild/fresh mushrooms in a light tomato sauce with shallots and grilled chicken that was delicious. We had the same reaction as did family and friends on other occasions - perfect ceviche, a dish called Brazilian chicken that was marinated and with the best ever roasted potatoes. My son who is 17 loves skirt steak and he considered the dish here the best tasting - I tried it and wanted to run off with it - the herbs/marinade - who knows what they do to get it that way - the green sauce you dip it in - ahh. Order the mushroom risotto, the wait staff roll a giant hollow wheel of parmagian cheese to your table and scrape fresh cheese into the risotto in front of you and serve it - out of this food world. It' s like being in a lively brazilian/italian brasserie of sorts, like you are away, in a good way , yet here you are in of all places, beautiful Westlake Village.
