What a night this was. We went to Cisco's simply to try something new in the way of Mexican food. When we got there we were pleased to find a very upscale atmosphere. We have never been here before. The food was great. I had a combo play with a taco and enchilada. My wife had some kind of salad that she seemed to enjoy it very much. We were there with friends and all of our kids. And this is where the experience takes an interesting turn.
During a walk back from the restroom with my five-year-old daughter, she fell and scraped her knee a little bit. One of the managers being concerned for her well-being and trying to restore her happiness at the restaurant, brought us a Band-Aid, and then gave her a balloon. Not to worry this was just a minor little fall. But, of course when all the other kids saw my daughter's balloon, they instantly all wanted their own balloon! If you have children, you know exactly what I'm talking about. One of the hostesses recognized the growing agony of the other kids and their lack of a balloon. She brought balloons for all the other kids. It was a very thoughtful thing to do, and it showed that the people at Cisco's restaurant really do care about the experience you are having there....
So, based upon the good food, the good atmosphere, and the smile-producing balloons for the kids, even though this is not really a kids restaurant, I give Cisco's a big thumbs up.
