“Indian Restaurants in the US are improving....:)”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

Gone are the times that you just could not venture into an Indian restaurant in the US. Having experienced Swagath in Portland, was keen to try another restaurant elsewhere, to see if there was a general improvement or if Swagath was a one off.....
Ordered Raita, Tarka Dal, Vegetable Korma, Basil and Garlic nan. Mango Juice. Veg korma had courgettes, carrots, beans, cauliflower, broccoli and peas in a rich sauce. All beautifully spiced (delicate but flavoursome). Nan had dried basil and fresh basil. Waiters polite. All in all, very positive experience, and seemed to be popular with locals. The portions were large and half of the was restaurant full by 6.30.
Came here twice in the week that I was here. Very good both times.

“Pretty good!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2012

Overall, it's pretty good. The service is pretty good as well. They are very tentative. I had a valpak coupon and they gave it back to me and told me I could use it again! Whoo hoo! We ordered a vegetable simosa and meat simosa each. I love simosas. Then we ordered a matta paneer and dal makhni with garlic naan. Everything was perfectly delicious! We did medium spicy for both dishes. The paneer wasn't very spicy but the makhni was. Which made it even better!

“Consistently delicious”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2012

This is my "go to" Indian restaurant. I usually see many Indians there dining , a good sign! They are very busy at lunch time and on the weekends. If you want a quieter space, ask for the room in the back. Coupons are usually available in the local coupon mailers and you can use them over and over. If you are in a hurry, be sure to tell them and they will do their best to accommodate you. The Chicken Tikka is always moist and flavorful; be sure to tell them how spicy you want it. Aloo Gobi, Eggplant Bharta are my favorites accompanied by the Raita and Naan bread. The Jasmine rice is plentiful, so don't over order. The staff works well together, helping each other to serve; so don't be shy about asking a passing server for something. Enjoy!

“Good Indian Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2012

Bollywood is a hidden gem. It's located downstairs on the lower level of the Water Court office complex on Hampshire Road. It is well worth seeking this place out.

I eat here regularly for lunch. The food is very good and the prices are a little higher than you'd expect, but not too bad. I love their chicken curry and Nan bread.
