Nice view, food good, staff good, very noisy, definitely not good for a romantic date, can't hear each other for bar is very crowded with very loud people. Staff is helpful and service was good but the overall experience could be better with all the nice restaurants in the area,

“Sorely disappointed...”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2013 via mobile

We went there for a nice celebration dinner with my business partners. We'd been there a few times before and had very good food and service. But this time it was poor. The Caesar salad was inedible. The place was cold and drafty. The steaks were awful. The waiter didn't know how to poor or decant wine. Probably will avoid this place unless just going for a drink.

“Not the best”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 12, 2012

I have been coming here for 5 years, and always liked this restaurant.

The view, service and bar were excellent. Food was plentiful and good.

Now, sadly, this has changed. The food is OK, but filet is now 6 pieces in a sort of Shepherd's pie type dish. The martinis are now in miniature glasses, and the salads sparse. For a bill of $80, the ingredients (including vodka) cost about $10 at the most. I will only come here again if I'm tired of all my other favorites.

“All around wonderful experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 29, 2012

Traveled to California for Thanksgiving and went to this restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner. Perfect buffet. Not a lot of "just food". Really good menu of turkey, salmon and lamb. Sides (stuffing and vegetables) were delicious, deserts were wonderful and plentiful. The atmosphere was so great--ate on the deck overlooking the lake! And the nice part was we were not rushed in the least. We sat for 3 hours just eating, talking and taking it all in. I was really impressed and will definitely go there again when in sunny California.

“Great water front patio with heaters and fireplace.”

Best for drinks and appetizers. Fried ravioli is incredible. Also went for lunch on Valentine's Day and the food was not as good. Greasy and heavy. Still a beautiful setting.
