One of the better Hyatt's I have stayed in recently. Most Hyatt's are generally pretty run down, this one was well maintained. The rooms seem very new, they must have just been updated.
The location is excellent, right off the 101. You can walk to Starbucks and the whole area feels very safe.
Parking was a little bit of a hassle on Saturday night, there was a big wedding at the hotel. Other nights it was not a problem.

We stayed here in January with our four year old son and had a very good experience. I would note up front they are planning an extensive remodel of the rooms so take that into consideration when reading other reviews.

The Hyatt is conveniently located just off the 101 and there is a grocery, drug store and several restaurants within an easy walk distance. We only ate breakfast at the hotel so I can't comment on other meals but the buffet breakfast was pretty good. Within easy driving distance are the beach, indoor malls and a number of other restaurants and shops.

The staff were very good and there is a rental car desk inside the hotel. They do have wireless in the lobby and an internet connected computer w/printer for a fee.

The pool is quite large but not heated so we didn't go in but the hot tub was still fun. They also have exercise facilities.

Beds were hard as rocks and walls are paper thin. We heard every noise all night long and didn't get any sleep....

We are frequent Hyatt patrons and were very disappointed to stay in one that is definitely not up to par.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel last weekend. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Our room was a little tired and I mentioned this to the front desk people, they took me up and showed me a model of what their rooms will look like in February. They are beautiful. The bed is amazing, they called it Hyatt's Grand Bed. We can't wait to come back. The Sunday Brunch was over the top. Best place in the area, hands down.
