When I checked in I was given a room that had been only partially cleaned. There were clean towels- but also a filthy (really) bathrobe hanging on the door, used soap, dirty dishes, stained linen on the bed and leftover food in the kitchen. The room had also not been vacuumed. Housekeeping was sent to service the room and it was ok, but there were still bits and pieces on the floor. I ordered room service twice and the first time it was very late, took nearly 2 hours and three phone calls. The restaurant's menu is seriously lacking and overpriced. I was given a pizza which had clearly come out of a freezer in a box for about $20. The business services here are problematic as well, I had trouble with the fax machine, USB inputs and printers.

Also- this place seems to be moonlighting as some kind of medical facility. I never quite figured it out but there are doctors and nurses in the halls, and it smells like a hospital at times. Furnishings need some updating. My remote control was very temperamental and hot water at the sink was chancy.

I stayed at Le Parc with my mother and my dog, who was welcomed more than I could have hoped for! The staff, most importantly the valet men, were wonderful. We had a lot to do in just a few days for business, and Le Parc made our stay comfortable and fun. The location is perfect, we went for evening walks EVERY night, and my dog was extremely comfortable with his surroundings, which for me says a lot. We had A LOT of trouble with our rental car, but that was NO problem, the guys at the valet got on the phone, and dealt with the car rental company. Within an hour, a new car was awaiting us for our evening meeting. The restaurant there was INCREDIBLE, and room service was EXCELLENT. I'll definitely be back, although this time I'll stay longer, and not for business.

Stayed in a 1BR suite overlooking Knoll Dr - The living and bedrooms are both spacious and for 250 a night not too bad, but it's 2009 folks. The carpets haven't been changed in 20 years, the kitchen is outdated and the bathroom is more along the lines of a Holiday Inn.

Those that complain about the noise, its true. La Cienega Blvd is one black away and there are LOTS of great clubs and THE L.A. sushi scene KOI just across the street.

Valet is never there.

The pool is small but nice atmosphere.

The manager told me they were expecting renovations on the 1BR Suites "soon" - I'd wait before booking

The hotel is small and very friendly. The area is terrific and near all attractions. The rooms are large and clean. However, the room is in need of some repair. There is a refrigerator and a microwave. The pool is small, but very clean. The Gym is small, but adequate. The overall value is excellent. I would stay here again without doubt. The atmosphere of the Hotel made my vacation a hit.
