We stayed at Le Parc for 6 nights in April on our first trip to LA. Upon arrival we were a little confused with the location as it looked like a residential street. After settling in and finding our feet we realised the location was quite good and a lot of things we wanted to see/do were nice and close. It was also really quiet which was good for sleep. We did walk a lot in LA however we used our car almost everyday and if staying at this hotel I was suggest hiring a car. The suite was very spacious and the fit out was good. Kitchen was a bonus but wasted on us. Housekeeping and front desk staff were all nice and the valet staff were always very helpful.
During our stay there was a power outage, no big deal we thought and I had spoke to the front desk who advised it would only be off for a few hours. We went out for the day and found the power was still of upon return. At no point did the front desk attempt to make contact, I was always having to contact them (we had a fire alarm go off in the middle of the night at The Crystal Lodge in Whistler and they had delivered a note throughout the night to advise guests on what had happened). The power ended up being out over night and into the next day. One of the main problems with no power was that the hallways were so dark it was quite hard getting in and out of the room. A light bulb had also smashed outside our room and I ended up stepping on the glass (yes I had thongs on) but this was obviously a concern - once housekeeping were notified it was cleaned straight away. I know the power being out isn't a huge deal to some however, it made doing hair/makeup near impossible (and we were going out every day and night) and after a long day out and about we enjoyed watching some tv/news after getting home.
All in all I think the hotel is really nice and a good location. The price seemed fair and from researching hotels prior to our stay, the room size is a lot better than other hotels. I think the hotel could improve the communication and advise realistic time frames in instances of power outages. I also sent feedback to the hotel but never heard anything back.
The hotel restaurant had a small menu but we did have a nice meal whilst there. We did not use the pool area.
I am not sure if I would stay in the WeHo area again, but if I did I would still consider this hotel based on the location and large and nice rooms.
