Loved this hotel. Would stay here again. Fantastic location in West Hollywood. Great rooms. Awesome pool and deck. Not that pricy. Staff are sooo friendly. Car service drives you anywhere within 5 miles.

Just spent three days and nights here. Fabulous location right of melrose ave and minutes drive from everything. Suites are beautiful. Very spacious and modern. Fireplace an added bonus and I wished the weather was cooler to have the opportunity to use it. Staff very friendly and accommodating although we did not have to ask for anything. Roof top pool area with great views. Our son lives in LA and we have stayed in numerous hotels there in all locations. We have decided we have found our spot!!! No more searching for the perfect hotel in the best location to everything. Thanks Le Parc.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2012

Myself and partner stayed here for 2 nights in early Sept 2012 and had a fab time. I was originally planning to stay in a 2 star motel in Hollywood but found a great deal via TravelZoo (UK) which meant that we could upgrade to a 4-star hotel suite for another £40/night. And what an amazing suite we had - probably the biggest hotel room I have ever had, all contemporary and swish, with all mod cons - could easily have slept 4-6 people and still not felt too cramped! Yes, the car parking fee of $35/night does sound steep to a foreign tourist, but this is LA, and appears to be the going rate for West Hollywood, a classy area and central to most things going on in this vast metropolis. We loved the roof-top pool and adjoining seating area where we took breakfast each morning - the views of the Hollywood Hills emphasised the glamour of being in West Hollywood and just a stone's throw from Melrose Avenue, Sunset Boulevard, and Beverley Hills. The only negatives I would add would be (a) the air con is a little noisy to sleep through (though I am a light sleeper), and (b) whilst there was a kitchen area in the suite, there was no basic utensils provided such as knives/forks/spoons, or cooking utensils, which we found a little odd (not that we planned to cook!).
Nonetheless, I would definitely recommend this hotel for time in LA and can't wait 'til my next trip!

I stayed with my friend for 3 nights. The staff let us check in an hour early and the room was spacious, clean and well decorated. The air con was welcome but a little noisy overnight. You can valet or self park but the price is the same $35 per day, which is about average for west Hollywood. The pool is small but good for cooling off in and you can get breakfast, snacks or dinner up there which is a nice get away from the hustle of Hollywood. The hotel is in a good location for restaurants - Urth cafe and Stk are within a 5 min walk. I would stay here again. All through the stay the staff were really helpful - I was very impressed with the service.

When we pulled up to the hotel (in a pretty residential area, but RIGHT off Melrose... and truly, the location of this hotel is THE BEST!!!) my husband gave me a double-take... he thought it looked like a '70s apartment complex (which it WAS) or a Best Western. ACK! =0 For a minute I was scared, but I was pretty confident in what I'd seen online :) The valets were SUPER friendly and just SO accomodating with any and all requests we had! Once we entered the hotel we realized it was quite nice... clean lines and a modern decor... it was lovely. The front desk staff was more than pleasant... we enjoyed every interaction we had with them throughout our 2 day stay. We also thought it was a GREAT gesture that they gave our 8 yr old son a "Le Parc Kids" t-shirt and a little menu for him to "special order" a cookie for delivery to our room upon his request... how cool is that?! Thanks for making him feel special! :)

Our room was on the 2nd floor... a Suite w/a king bed and a pull out couch in the "living area"... worked perfectly for my husband and I, and our 8 yr old son. The room was SO spacious... probably one of the largest rooms I've seen... with nice decor and even a kitchen area w/granite countertops and mini fridge... very nice. Three negatives for the room... ONE, while the mattress was nice/appeared new... it was ROCK hard. Ouch. If you like firm... you got it. lol. TWO, no central air conditioning. There is a room/window air conditioner that worked well once it got running for awhile, to cool of the room, however, it would get cold in the "living area" so we'd shut it down... but the "sleeping area" would be overly warm. It was hard to get the temperature feeling "just right" in the long room w/the AC at the one far end. THREE, the bathroom lighting. I'm going to say it was... horrible =0 There was ONE light over the bathroom sink (and the bathroom itself was a bit "cave-like" and dark) which was definitely not sufficient lighting. It was VERY hard to get ready... do makeup and/or hair.

The rooftop deck... awesome. A small pool (the water a bit warm for our taste though... not very refreshing on a hot day... sort of bathtub-ish) and very nice lounging area w/a beautiful cabana area where people could sit to get out of the sun. Huge tennis court area (and the staff downstairs very generously supplied us w/racquets and balls) is also on the roof... very nice! ONE negative, and this is certainly our "opinion"... too much smoking going on by the pool. Out of the 8 people lounging around the pool, at least 5 of them were smoking. Blech. I think it'd be a GREAT idea if the hotel sectioned off an area specifically FOR smoking... as it's hard enough to breathe in the whole Los Angeles area. lol!

We dined for breakfast at "The Knoll" (the hotel's restaurant on the 3rd floor) and TRULY enjoyed our meal. GREAT coffee... a wonderful omelet, fruits and fabulous blueberry pancakes!

All in all, we really enjoyed our stay. Any of the minor shortcomings (in our opinion) were MORE than made up for by the superior staff and their friendly/helpful demeanor. We WOULD recommend this hotel to friends, and we DEFINITELY would stay here again!

ps - LOVED having complimentary WIFI... thank you!

We stayed a total of 20 days over a six week holiday travelling California by road. The staff are so friendly and always up for a chat. I am not usually a pool area fan at hotels but at Le Parc it is set up as a really relaxing well set out place I enjoyed to start and finish our day with attentive service otherwise you are left to enjoy the poolside, it is wireless so skype and internet can be easily accessed. The rooms are homely and comfortable well serviced with glass sliding doors to a small but usable balcony. Love the unique location walkable to some great LA restaurants, cafes, and design centre etc. Cant speak highly enough of this hotel,

My husband and I stayed at this hotel during our 5 days trip to Los Angeles.

Location: the hotel is located in a quiet residential area with many boutique shops and restaurants within walking distance

Room: Our room was very spacious and nicely decorated. The bathroom was somewhat at a lower decorative order. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable.

Facilities: nice sun deck with a jacuzzi and a small pool (unnecessarily heated given it was summer). There is also a tiny gym, dry sauna and a tennis court.

Staff: right dose of friendliness and efficiency!

We were both happy with the hotel and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful base from where to explore the sights in Los Angeles.

Room Tip: We stayed in a room on the 3rd floor (top floor) which is advised if you are a light sleeper.
