“very good hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2012

This is a very good hotel with flawless service. All rooms are suits. Enormous bathrooms. Classy minimalistic design. Mini kitchen with Keurig tea/coffee maker. You feel safe and at home. Order breakfast from the hotel`s own Michelin starred Gordon Ramsay restaurant (reasonably priced and delicious)

Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated, as is the entire hotel. The rooftop pool was lovely, with scenic views and palm trees, comfortable chaises (or cabanas), and nighttime fire-pits and couches. The included breakfast and drinks were special (delicious mini-quiches, pastries & breads, fruit/yogurt/granola parfaits, smoked fish and vegetables, a juice bar as well as specially made drinks like lattes, cappacinos, iced coffee, hot chocolate, teas). The location is fabulous. During our 5 day stay, we used many amenities: lemon-laced water carafes strategically placed for guests to enjoy, a Wednesday evening "party", quick valet parking, spa-like bathrooms, etc. The staff's attentiveness made me feel very pampered. I have already asked several friends to meet me here for another luxurious get-away!

Room Tip: Rooms away from the major cross-streets are quieter.

We plan mad cap holidays full of road trips and a wide range of travel. The London, for the second time has provided our indulgence accommodation to refresh before the long leg home. On each visit we have had outstanding service particularly from concierge where most recently Ian and Sarah are the epitome of thoughtfulness and resourcefulness. Then there are the beds which we love, firm but soft, a perfect antidote to exhaustion. This is a hotel of class with a neighbourhood feel where you don't feel crammed into a concrete city but remain closely connected to the boulevards and all that LA has to offer: culture and razzmatazz.

Wouldn't stay a minute at it!!!!! Checked out early, pretty gross place! Cleanliness problems, the pool is hideous, gross and the food and the service. It is really cheaply done. They even upgraded me, and we left. Couldn't get a good night's sleep as it was party central.

This hotel wasn’t even on my radar until my father of all people said I had to stay there. He was right! This is the perfect hotel for West Hollywood. The London has a fabulous location, huge rooms, awesome rooftop pool and is gorgeous (But not over the top).

The public spaces and restaurant shine, and the hallways are lined in a faux-suede type material that they put perfect vacuum lines in. What a great touch! The pool with full service bar and food was great, but slightly overpriced. While the public areas are well taken care of, we had two quirks happen that are unacceptable. The elevator accidentally opened onto the unfinished level below the pool, which was a disaster zone. Also, on the way to the gym, you easily get turned around and find yourself in an open, dirty storage area. Whoops.

Our room was great, I loved everything about it. The bed was so comfortable, furniture was original and I felt like I was in a mid-century modern throwback to 1950’s Hollywood with a new millennium twist. The balcony faced the Hollywood Hills, a perfect touch. The bathroom was lovely and massive, with a great modern edge.

I had no clue until we were there, but the hotel has a new Jaguar XJL sedan as the house car. It was such a fun touch, being driven to dinner in Beverly Hills in that car every night!

Room Tip: I thought the Hollywood Hills views were the best.

This hotel is on the the best I ve been in LA.
All rooms are suites, big and comfortable. The view are not as great as other hotels but you just feel so good in!
The swimming pool on the roof top is a great plus (as well as the gym on roof top)
The restaurant from Gordon Ramsay, even if a bit expensive, is really good.
The perfect hotel for a long stay in LA, if you want to feel like at home.

The hotel was clean, nice, great location . Hotel front desk staff were super helpful, polite and professional. The guy at the rooftop pool was not so professional, we had to ask several time for the cocktail menu and our order came one drink at a time ( in total it took 30mins from when we received the first drink to the third) and another 30min for the bill to arrive. But the breakfast in the morning was fantastic. It was a nice stopover.
