excellent rooms; spacious, clean, fresh, beautiful appointments. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy access to all parts of the city. .. did not have to get on a freeway from the airport. will be returning often.

Sit at your desk on a cold, dreary day and dream of your perfect hotel. Increase your expectations a few times and you now know what to expect from The London.

This hotel truly does excellence and most of all does it well. The staff are well trained, knowledgeable and seem to take immense pride in their work. Rooms are incredibly large, comfortable and well furnished with all expected features plus a few more.

The pool area was incredible and the staff really went out of their way to help actively walking around the sun-loungers looking to get guests whatever they needed to make their days complete.

Food was delicious without exception offering options to suit most tastes. Even room service was done to a high standard and was well presented without compromising on the comfort food element many look for in a room service meal.

Overall prior to arrival don't be afraid to increase your expectations of this hotel - they will rise magnificently to the challenge and therefore won't disappoint.

On a previous visit in November 2010 our arrival after a long journey was not handled well, although in every other respect the hotel was well up to standard. This time we stayed 4 nights over Christmas and 3 nights at the end of January and the experience was outstanding. From the pleasantly efficient forecourt greeting, through check-in, bag-handling, house-keeping, to the restaurant service, the attention we received was all we could have wished for. The London Vista suite with views to the Hills and distant downtown was spacious and luxurious. A couple of other important things ticked boxes for us - copious quantities of top quality white cotton towels and excellent sound insulation - not a sound from either side, above or below. Just one very small point - on three occasions we had to call reception for replacement door key-cards because the magnetic strip is immobilised when near credit cards or car keys. Back to the tech guys! However, we have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to our friends.

I stayed here for a mid-week b-day get-away in November, and boy did they treat me right. A lovely bottle of wine and delicious chocolates were waiting in my beautiful room, I got special treats with all of my meals, the staff was just lovely, and the tub...amazing. Thank you London for making my birthday feel extra special.
