We stayed at this hotel for the first half of our Honeymoon. I too was a bit worried after reading some of these reviews. But everything was fine. Like who cares what the hallways look like? I think some people expect all hotels to be the Hyatt!! The hotel was easy to find. Check in and check out was quick, staff polite and helpful. We had a new king bed (so comfy), awesome big screen TV and a fridge in our room. The free internet was good to. There were laundry facilities also, which come in handy. This hotel has a great location. Took no time at all to drive anywhere. Also a $7 cab ride to Sunset Strip. The parking is expensive at $27 a night. But considering they can sell this parking to surrounding businesses, I’m sure guests without a car are happy the parking price isn’t built into their room price. And the hotel is pretty cheap anyway. And you don’t have to Valet. I don’t know where the guy below got that from. You just drive past the valet and up the ramp. Also, the restaurant was still closed, but this was good, it made us venture out past the hotel. We found a lovely restaurant up the road called Tango Grill. There are also heaps of other food places around, like Subway, Koo Koo Roo and Starbucks, including a 24 hour Mediterranean Restaurant on the corner of La Cienega. The pool was lovely and nice at the end of a day of slight seeing. I just wish it was open past 9pm. Also the Concierge, Jose, was really helpful booking things for us and advising the best value for money. I’d definitely stay here again, and would recommend it to others.
