This hotel was rather expensive for what we got and it was not as well placed as the hotel website boasted.
The website states that the hotel is about one mile from everything that you want to see in LA. This wasn't the case - you really need a car to get to see everything, barely anything was within walking distance. So this was very disappointing.
The hotel is in the middle of a refurbishment, so there was no bar, restaurant or breakfast facility, which wouldn't have mattered ordinarily, except that the hotel is on a main road which doesn't offer any good eats - so Pizza Hut saved our life on our first evening!
Our room had been part of the refurb, which was well decorated, but they forgot to do the bathroom.....and this really needed it! It was old, tired and the white bath had gone yellow with age.
It was however clean.
We tend to stay in mid range hotels and most tend to offer free internet access these days, the Ramada charges 50cents a minute for internet access, which is really pricey when you spend most of the time connecting to different sites!
All in all the hotel was clean and did the job but was well over priced for it's location and amenities.
