This hotel is averaging out at 2 stars which it most certainly isn't!!

This hotel is a 3 star. Comfortable, clean rooms, situated on Santa Monica Boulevard close to the gay area, infact on your doorstep. I agree with the previous reviewer in that it all depends what you're looking for as this will dictate how you evaluate this hotel.

Front desk staff seemed to be Eastern European and didn't have a clue about the area or trips etc. In all fairness, the concierge wasn't that great either. There is a bar but it is not in use and from reading other reviews, this seems to have been the case for some time.

It's close to Beverly Hills and the Beverly shopping centre also.

Back to the rooms; I didn't like the decor of the rooms, a bit gloomy, however the rest of the hotel is pleasant. Bathroom was a good size, really clean with lots of amenities; shower gel, mouthwash, shampoo etc.

The hotel doesn't offer room service, however there are juice machines and ice machines on each floor.

For the price, this was a good deal. Would definitely stay here again.

Also, they offer free wireless, unlike previous Ramada Hotels I have stayed at. Worked fine for me, pretty fast actually.

Probably not a hotel for families though to be honest.

Beds comfortable and there is a fridge in each room which is really good for storing drinks etc.

If you get a good deal, go for it!

Let's be very simple. If there's anything to say about this hotel is it's marvelous. Great location, huge rooms with perfect modern design.
When i came the first time i was very well surprised by the size of our room. I booked for a junior suite and i had a real small studio with kitchen plus living room downstairs and nice bedroom place on the mezzanine upstairs !!! Very very lovely. 2 enormous flat TV screens, free internet and nice view above Santa Monica boulevard.

BUT !!! When i called them to book they instantly gave me a voucher and price per night felled to 220 USD instead of 255 USD. I was glad to hear that and right away the girl said "oh, by the way we have a 27 DOLLARS DAILY FEE FOR THE PARKING " !!! yes you read well, 27 dollars A DAY ! They also add a daily "in come fee" ( what does that means ???) and taxes are not 13,60 % like everywhere in west Hollywood but 15....It's clearly a rip off knowing that you will need a car in L.A...

For those who don't care about flat TV, i strongly recomand a small motel just one block from Ramada. It's called holloway motel and it's 85 dollars a night ALL TAXES INCLUDED.

I think people will love or hate this place depending on what they're looking for! This hotel is perfectly fine if you are looking for a base to tour the area & don't plan on spending much time there. If you are looking for a hotel where you can relax all day, use the facilities, etc. this isn't for you!

It's not a beautiful hotel, but it's clean & well located for touring Hollywood.

One downside was the internet access. It was really slow and reception were no help. If you need the internet this is very frustrating.

We were in L.A. for one night and wanted to stay somewhere close to all of the bars/nightclubs.

This was a nice hotel, and was clean. We had no problems with staying here and would recommend it to anyone who was wanting to stay in West Hollywood.
