We were in L.A. for one night and wanted to stay somewhere close to all of the bars/nightclubs.

This was a nice hotel, and was clean. We had no problems with staying here and would recommend it to anyone who was wanting to stay in West Hollywood.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ramada Plaza in West Hollywood. For the price, it was centrally located to many attractions. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The beds were really comfortable and the AC worked so well. (We like our room to be very cold.) Our room also had a large plasma TV. The noise wasn't a problem on the second floor or in the rest of the hotel. There wasn't a bar in the hotel, but that was okay for us since many restaurants (like Nobu) and bars were in walking distance. We would stay here again and will recommend it to those looking for an moderately priced hotel in this area.

This hotel is filthy. The towel in our room had excrement on it and the toilet was blocked. The room smelt of cheap disinfectant and the furniture was chipped and soiled.
There is no excuse for such poor standards from a major chain and there is certainly no excuse for the poor service we received at reception. The whole experience was foul. We stayed one night only to be woken at 7am by the bins being emptied. We left cutting our stay short by 3 nights. Please avoid this place at all costs. If yopu do HAVE to stay, check your room carefully before accepting it.

I was there for a grad. at UCLA and my mother lives in Palmdale. I was suprised at how centerally located it was with everything we were doing. It isnt the most extravegant hotel but it worked. With saying that, I was not pleased with all the activity on Sat. night but I don't think it is the Hotels fault. Just rude people staying there. They did have a security guard roaming the floors, which made me feel safer. We ended up renting a car and the desk people were extremely helpful. Starbucks is right on the corner. All and All. I would stay there again.
