This hotel is filthy. The towel in our room had excrement on it and the toilet was blocked. The room smelt of cheap disinfectant and the furniture was chipped and soiled.
There is no excuse for such poor standards from a major chain and there is certainly no excuse for the poor service we received at reception. The whole experience was foul. We stayed one night only to be woken at 7am by the bins being emptied. We left cutting our stay short by 3 nights. Please avoid this place at all costs. If yopu do HAVE to stay, check your room carefully before accepting it.

I was there for a grad. at UCLA and my mother lives in Palmdale. I was suprised at how centerally located it was with everything we were doing. It isnt the most extravegant hotel but it worked. With saying that, I was not pleased with all the activity on Sat. night but I don't think it is the Hotels fault. Just rude people staying there. They did have a security guard roaming the floors, which made me feel safer. We ended up renting a car and the desk people were extremely helpful. Starbucks is right on the corner. All and All. I would stay there again.

I booked the Ramada as it was well located to the annual 'Avenues of Art & Design Walk' held in West Hollywood. The hotel is also well situated to Melrose Ave, restaurants & shopping - and a Starbucks on the same block is very handy. I booked the loft suite which was impressive - very modern and clean. I enjoyed my stay at the Ramada, and the Art & Design Walk, and can recommend you check out both during a visit to L.A.

I too was worried after reading some reviews,so I booked a loft suite. The suite was lovely, really impressed. Location was brilliant, staff friendly and helpful. The area is very gay orientated which might not suit some of the more ignorant families around, but I would return with my children as I believe it takes all sorts to make a world, and after all it is West Hollywood! The hotel is on list for Primetime shuttle so very convenient if you don't have a car .
