I have had the extreme pleasure of experiencing one of the best hotel stays imaginable; and I travel quite often because of professional committments.
After one week residing in a newly renovated suite at the Le Montrose Suite Hotel, I was almost experiencing separation anxiety upon check out. The accommodations were reminiscent of home; comfortable and welcoming. The facilities provided to conduct business are convenient, extensive and very user friendly.
Every employee with whom had contact immediately responded competently, and enthusiastically to my numerous requests for services.
I cannot immagine why anyone would want to stay anywhere else in West Hollywood, especially in view of the reasonable rates.

Overall I rate this place a "C+". The room was in need of a remodel and the internet pictures overstate the condition of the hotel. I prefer both the Sunset Marquis and the Standard but the Le Montrose will book a room for just one night on the weekend. If you are up there to party and go to the clubs on Sunset then consider the Le Montrose. The rooms do have a DVD and CD player.

The LeMontrose Suite hotel is a perfect spot in a city that never sleeps. From the side street entrance to the welcoming greeting at the front desk, the LeMontrose Hotel is a welcoming site coming from the Windy City. The newly renovated suites provide all of the amenities you could ask for. If you forgot something, like I did; the staff is more than willing to take care of your requests.
I rate hotels very harshly on cleanliness. LeMontrose stands on its own in this area. Everything from the entrance to the floor in the bathroom were impeccable.
The suite I had even had a small private balcony that my wife and I enjoyed. The LeMontrose is certainly a great find in a city of tinsel!

The room was nice and big. The sheets were great. Great view of the city to downtown.
